Nepal, situated in south Asia is a land-locked country
between two of Asia's giants - India and China. Nepal is
one of the least developed country in the world. It has
a population of about 23 million of whom 10 to 12
million live in absolute poverty. The annual population
growth rate in Nepal is 2.4 % and the average per capita
income is US $ 180. It's literacy rate is only 47%. 50%
of the total population in Nepal are children. Therefore
many have a dark future as a quality education is beyond
their means.
Accepting these challenges ECPHC has been established
to remove the educational difficulties to the best of
it's abilities.
The Education Centre for Poor and Homeless Children
is a registered, non-profit motivated, non-governmental
organization (NGO) established in 1998. It is primarily
established to secure the educational rights of the poor
and helpless children by providing educational
opportunities
It strives to uplift the socio-economic
condition of the poor homeless people particularly the
disadvantaged and helpless children. ECPHC intends to
give a quality education through a reputed private
School to these helpless children ECPHC is located in
Pokhara, one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal. |
